Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She began her professional stage career at the age of 13 in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. The following year she was cast as Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. The role was reprised as she made her Broadway debut at 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. She was also recognized as an award for the Drama League Award. Molly also appeared in Broadway to perform in the production of Fiddler on the Roof. Then, she attended Princeton University and was a part of the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the year 2008. After that, she went to Princeton University where she was a part of the Triangle Club and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. During that time she appeared in a film for the first time, Disney in the film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly started her acting career following graduating with Off-Broadway performances, such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys on HBO Pilot. Molly participated involved in the in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and also in the year the Westport Country Theater's performance of The Diary of Anne Frank which she performed as Anne. Molly is best known for playing Ali who is a teen daughter, in Paranormal Activity 2, a 2010 film in which Jack Burditt directed and wrote the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
