She lives in New York City. Chando began her acting career in the fall of 2005 at Manhattan College. Chando was the role of Maddie Coleman in the TV soap show As The World turns from 2005 to 2007 and, for a short period from late 2009 onwards when she returned to the character. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 with the TV series House Blend playing the character as Jenna Harper. In the following three seasons, she starred on the American soap opera on TV which was telecast in CBS, As the World Turns as Maddie Coleman. In the year 2009 Chando appeared in American documentary TV show True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. She starred two episodes in the American drama-comedy TV show Glory Daze. She also has credits on Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
