The performer was born on 26 November 1996 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo and maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. The family moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was six years old. After moving to New Jersey, she finished her education through Red Bank Catholic High School. Following her graduation from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the college. The violin was first played when she was four years old, and she was known as the Violin Girl. Performances by her led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She also worked as instrumental teacher to the kids in the region. At the age of 19, she appeared on Free 1976 American Idol in the 6th season. The show was cut short at the 16th spot. She has performed many songs, such as 2009's "The Christmas Song" as well as 2010's Out for Blood. Additionally she has appeared on some programs on television, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba rose to stardom as a singer in America on the show's 6th season American Idol.
