Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a child of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, while her mother was English. She was lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. When she was 14, she attended The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained an acting BA. She was on stage in many productions while attending school like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her popularity led her to play Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was in the episodes of the series' initial two seasons as a regular. But in May 2013, the announcement was made that she would be departing the show following her guest appearance on the opening episode for its third season. In the television series Salem the actress played Tituba from 2014 until the year 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into the large family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. At age two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions for jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated high school. She won the top individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
